How long should a resume bullet be?
One line, one idea. If it wraps to three, it's two bullets or too much detail.
Aim for one to two lines
A bullet should read in a glance — roughly 100 to 200 characters. Longer, and the outcome gets buried in the middle where nobody looks.
One accomplishment per bullet
Two achievements crammed into one line halves the impact of both. Split them, or drop the weaker one. Distinct points read as more done, not less.
Cut the setup
'In order to improve the reliability of our systems, I worked on...' is throat-clearing. Start at the verb: 'Improved system reliability by...'
Three to six per role
Recent, relevant roles earn more bullets; older ones earn one or two. resumania keeps each role to its genuinely distinct wins instead of padding to a fixed count.
