1. Acceptance of Terms
resumania is a resume writing, tailoring and tracking service operated by Malay Damani, a sole proprietor based in Vadodara, Gujarat, India (“resumania”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account, purchasing credits or otherwise using the service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or have the consent of a parent or guardian) and that you accept these Terms & Conditions together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Products & Services
resumania is a digital service that helps you write, tailor and track resumes. You provide your own facts and experience; our tools help you structure, reframe and format them. Compiled resumes are delivered as digital files (.pdf and .tex) inside your account. We do not sell any physical goods. Features, templates and pricing may evolve as we improve the product.
3. Pricing & Payments
resumania is pay-as-you-go with no recurring subscription. You purchase credit packs (currently ₹99, ₹299 and ₹599) and credits are consumed when you compile a resume, priced by the exaggeration level you choose. All prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes. Payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Paytm; we never see or store your card or bank details. You are never charged for a compile that fails.
4. Order Acceptance
An order for credits is accepted only once payment has been confirmed by our payment partner, at which point the credits are added to your account balance. If payment is not confirmed, the order is not accepted and no credits are issued. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or reverse any order we reasonably believe to be fraudulent, unauthorised, mistakenly priced, or in breach of these Terms.
5. Shipping & Delivery
resumania delivers digital products only — there is no physical shipment. On a successful compile, your resume files (.pdf and .tex) are generated and made available to download within your account, typically within seconds. Purchased credits are added to your balance immediately after payment is confirmed. As nothing is shipped physically, no shipping or delivery charges apply.
6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
Because our products are digital and delivered instantly, this section works together with our Refund & Cancellation Policy. In summary: unused credits may be refunded within 14 days of purchase; you are never charged for a failed compile; and credits already spent on a completed compile are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or as expressly stated in the Refund Policy. 7. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your login details secure — do not share your account, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of the information you submit and of the resumes you send to employers. Our enhancement features reframe the facts you provide; they do not invent them. Choosing to cross the clearly marked “fabrication line” is your decision, and its consequences are yours. You agree to use the service lawfully and not to misuse, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it.
8. Intellectual Property
The content you create — your library facts, resumes and applications — remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to process, compile, tailor and store that content solely to provide the service; we do not sell it. The resumania name, software, design, templates and underlying technology are the intellectual property of resumania or its licensors and are protected by law. You may use your compiled resumes freely for your own job search, but you may not copy, resell or redistribute the service or its templates as your own.
9. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We aim for high uptime but do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free; LaTeX compilation can occasionally fail, in which case we surface the log, attempt an auto-fix, and do not charge you. To the fullest extent permitted by law, resumania and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any hiring, career or employment outcome. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Privacy
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we use it. In short: we collect your email, the facts and resumes you create, your applications and basic usage data; payments are handled by Paytm (we never receive your full card details); we do not sell your data; and you can manage AI-usage preferences, export your data, or delete your account at any time from Settings.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The courts at Vadodara, Gujarat shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the service.
12. Changes to Terms & Conditions
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the service, the law or our practices. Material changes will be announced within the app, and the “last updated” date above will change accordingly. Your continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree with a change, please stop using the service.
