The data analyst resume, quantified
An analyst who can't quantify their own impact is a hard sell. Lead with the decisions your work drove.
Impact, not tasks
'Built dashboards' is a task. 'Built the revenue dashboard the exec team uses weekly, cutting reporting time from a day to an hour' is impact.
Tools where they're searched
SQL, Python, and your BI stack belong in a visible skills block — recruiters filter on them. But the bullets prove the analysis, not the tool list.
Tie analysis to a decision
The strongest analyst bullet ends in a decision or dollar figure: what changed because of what you found.
Projects fill the gaps
A public dashboard or a scraped-and-cleaned dataset shows range a single job might not. Treat it as real, quantified work.
